Chocolate and mixed seed energy balls
These energy balls make a great pre or post workout snack and will provide the body with long sustained energy to fuel performance.

Ingredients
- 180 g oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp mixed seeds
- 1 tbsp dried fruit
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 5 squares dark chocolate (minimum 70%) chopped
Melted chocolate
- 4 squares dark chocolate (minimum 70%) melted
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a large bowl. Mix well with a spoon until well combined.
- With clean hands, roll into 10 balls and place on a plate.
- Place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, remove the energy balls from the freezer and melt the 4 squares of dark chocolate in the microwave. (do this in 30 second intervals until fully melted) Once melted, spoon over the energy balls before placing in the fridge for 5 minutes until the chocolate has set.
- Energy with a tea or coffee 😉
