Healthy Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
 

  • 250 gram fresh cranberries
  • 2 oranges
  • 3-4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 40 ml water

Optional add-ins

  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Orange zest

Instructions
 

  • Add the cranberries, the juice of two oranges, maple syrup and water to a pan. Place on a medium heat and bring to the bubble.
  • Once bubbling, reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. At this point, the cranberries should have all popped.
  • Remove from the heat before adding a pinch of cinnamon and orange zest.
  • Spoon into a mason jar and store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
