- 1 Slow cooker
Ingredients
- 1.6 kg pork steaks, chopped into chunks
- 1 jar smoked peppers, chopped
- 1 2cm piece ginger, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp garlic granules
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 2 tsp onion granules
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 chicken stock plus 150ml water
- 1 good pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 lemon, juice only
Optional garnishing
- Fresh coriander
- Fresh chilli
- Pine nuts
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients except the lemon to the slow cooker and stir well.
- Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
- Just before serving, add the juice of a lemon, stir well and serve with rice and veggies of choice.
