Ingredients

Bliss ball ingredients

  • 10 large medjool dates, pitted
  • 40 grams almond flour
  • 30 grams chocolate protein powder
  • 30 grams mixed seeds

Coating

  • 100 grams dark chocolate (70% or above)
  • 1-2 tbsp crushed nuts

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine the dates, almond flour, protein powder and seeds.
  • Blend until the mixture comes together. If it’s too dry or crumbly, add water gradually (1 tsp at a time) until it sticks when pressed.
  • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into balls. You will be able to make 5 large balls.
  • Place the balls in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up. This makes coating easier.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 30 second intervals stirring in between until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, then place on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Immediately sprinkle with chopped nuts or seeds before the chocolate sets.
  • Let the chocolate harden in the fridge for ten minutes before enjoying.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
