Healthy Chocolate and Walnut Banana Bread
You won’t find many banana bread recipes as healthy and delicious as this. It is a wonderful breakfast, dessert, pre or post workout snack that will keep you fuelled and fuller for longer.

Ingredients
- 180 g Oats
- 2 Large eggs
- 3 medium Ripe bananas
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsps Natural yogurt or dairy free yogurt
- 2 tbsp Walnuts
- 85 g Maple syrup/honey
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 60 g Dark chocolate
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to fan 160℃
- Place all the ingredients apart from the dark chocolate into a blender. Blend for 1 minute.
- Chop up 35 g of the dark chocolate into really small pieces and stir into the banana bread mixture.
- Line a 8×4 bread tin with some parchment paper and pour the mixture into it.
- Chop the other 25 g of dark chocolate and sprinkle evenly on top of the mixture before placing in the oven for 45 minutes.
- Allow to cool and enjoy with a nice cup of coffee.
