Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs skin on, bone in
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt
- pepper
Marinade
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp Chinese five spice
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with a little oil, salt and pepper.
- Heat a griddle pan on a medium heat (I used two pans to ensure even cooking)
- Once hot, add the chicken thighs skin side down and allow to cook for 6 minutes.
- After 6 minutes, flip and cook the flesh side for 6 minutes.
- After a total of 12 minutes, pour in the marinade and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes until the marinade is nice and sticky and the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve and spoon over that delicious marinade 😉
