Ingredients

  • 8 chicken thighs skin on, bone in
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Marinade

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Season the chicken thighs with a little oil, salt and pepper.
  • Heat a griddle pan on a medium heat (I used two pans to ensure even cooking)
  • Once hot, add the chicken thighs skin side down and allow to cook for 6 minutes.
  • After 6 minutes, flip and cook the flesh side for 6 minutes.
  • After a total of 12 minutes, pour in the marinade and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes until the marinade is nice and sticky and the chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve and spoon over that delicious marinade 😉
